LAREDO, Tex. (Hola Laredo) -
If your kids are already asking, “What are we doing this summer?”—the Art Museum of South Texas has an answer. AMST is launching its iconic Fine Art of Summer Camp 2026, packed with creative, hands-on sessions that let campers draw, paint, sculpt, perform, and play their way through summer.
This year’s lineup spans K–12 (must have completed Kindergarten) and features themed weeks like Comic & Cartooning, Dream Worlds in Art, Museum of Magical Arts, Landscape Explorers, Pixel Pioneers (video game art), Create Your Own World, The Potter’s Playhouse, K‑Pop Shadow Stars, and The Artist Studio—with sessions hosted at AMST and additional locations including the Garcia Arts & Education Center.

Camp runs 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with optional pre-care (7:30 a.m.) and after-care (until 5:30 p.m.). Families should note campers need to bring a lunch and snack daily, and every child receives one camp T‑shirt for the summer.
And here’s a big one: AMST offers financial aid and scholarships, helping more kids in our community get access to meaningful, creative summer experiences.
